A performative, temporary intervention in the courtyard of Arkadi Monastery, inspired by the portrait of my great-great-grandfather, which is exhibited in the Monastery along with all the chief commanders that fought there during the Cretan Revolution of 1866. The temporary trace of his stencil-figure made of water, fades away as the action/itinerary evolves on the main pavement of the monastery.
A comment on roots, memory and perception of both personal and collective past.
